On today’s episode of "Tell Me More," Matt speaks with the legendary two-time Tony winning composer and lyricist of "Nine" and "Titanic," Maury Yeston. On Friday, Oct. 23, Maury celebrated his 75th birthday and in honor of the occasion PS Classics released a new album "Maury Sings Yeston: The Demos."
The album is a collection of over 40 years of demo recordings that Maury made – many with an elaborate multi-track studio setup – shortly after each of the specific songs were finished. The album includes some songs that are very different than what ended up in their specific show, some songs from shows that never made it to the stage, and some songs that are nearly identical to the versions that we know and love today.
