Special Interview: Keone and Mari Madrid on 'Beyond Babel,' Britney Spears, 'Karate Kid'

On this episode, Matt and Grace talk to the husband and wife creative team of Keone and Mari Madrid. While they have been well known in the dance world for years as choreographers and reality show contestants, they have begun to dive head first into the world of theatre. 

After being shut down due to the pandemic, they have just brought back their off-Broadway "dance-sical" "Beyond Babel" to the Gym at Judson. The show is running through Nov. 21, and then the very next week they begin rehearsals for the world premiere of the Britney Spears musical "Once Upon a One More Time," for which they will not only choreograph, but direct as well. 

Following that show's run, they will bounce over to another exciting new musical as they will provide choreography for the new "The Karate Kid" musical that will debut in the spring of 2022 in St. Louis.
