On today’s episode, Matt speaks with Broadway star and three-time Emmy Award winner Uzo Aduba about her latest Broadway show "Clyde's." The show is running at Second Stage's Helen Hayes Theatre through Jan. 16. The final two weeks of performances will be live streamed beginning on Jan. 4
Uzo has previously appeared on Broadway in “Coram Boy” and “Godspell” before making her return at the Helen Hayes Theatre, but she is most likely known as the three-time Emmy Award winning star of “Orange is the New Black,” “Mrs. America,” “In Treatment,” and more.
“Clyde’s” is playing on Broadway, where it got phenomenal reviews through Jan. 16, and beginning on Jan. 4, you will be able to stream the final two weeks of performances live from Broadway. We will have links to where you can purchase tickets to both the Broadway and streaming iterations of the show in the shownotes and article version of this episode.
In the conversation, Uzo talks about subverting expectations in this surprisingly dark comedy, the super powers of her individual co-stars, her idea of the perfect sandwich, and much more.
