On today's episode, Matt Tamanini is in conversation with two of the stars of the new Off-Broadway show "That Parenting Musical," Max Crumm and Vidushi Goyal. When he saw a workshop presentation of the show last fall, Max and Vidushi absolutely stole the show, which is perhaps not surprising, considering that they play the kids of the titular parents.
In their conversation, the three discuss the balance of heart and humor in the show, the sense of play afforded to them because they are playing children, and how meaningful it is to Max to be playing a child who is non-binary.
